Do you DIY???

So I like to think I am a diy'er even though a lot of my projects tend to fail it is always so much fun when you create something with your own hands. I have attempted things like soap making, hair bow and tutu making, and various sewing projects and a lot of other projects too.  I just found a new website that may prove to be a bit addicting and already found about 3 projects that I want to tackle.  So what is this new website you may ask well I am going to share with you in just a minute!!

This is one I am definitely going to be trying aren't they adorable???

Look at this leaf bowl this is so cute and would make a great addition to your fall décor!!

Countdown to Disney!!

Well the countdown has officially begun!!! We are 30 days from our Disney trip and I could not be more excited!!  Mr. B and I went to Disney 6 years ago when I was pregnant with Miss B and we loved it so much it was a first for both of us and we swore we would go back once our kids were bigger. Well in January we decided that we would finally take our trip this year because our kids are old enough to really enjoy it.    So I have had almost a year to plan this trip and as the time is finally approaching I am both excited and a little nervous.

I have had so much fun planning and making things for this trip I have made autograph books for both kids and because I am a little obsessed with organization I am making a planning binder with all my information in one place.  One thing I would change if I could do it over again is keeping it a secret from the kids until the day of because for the last 10 months all I have heard is when are we going to Disney lol.  Although it has been so fun hearing there excitement as they talk about things they want to do while there they just can't quite grasp the concept of time yet...

If anyone else is planning a Disney vacation in the near future here are some awesome planning resources that I used for this trip!!

If you have been to Disney before I would love to hear your must do's and things that you could have passed on.

How do you deal with sickess in your house?

We unfortunately have climbed aboard the fall/winter sickness train for the past month little Miss B and myself have been passing it back and fourth.  I am currently down with strep throat which is no fun when you are the mommy since our jobs never stop even if we are sick.

Mr. B was laughing at me a couple days ago I got a little crazy with the Lysol and sprayed/wiped everything down and then washed all bedding trying to get rid of the germs.  Do you have any home remedies for ideas to get the germs out of your house once they have entered.

Holiday wish list idea!!

If you are anything like me you have get sick of hearing what do the kids want for Christmas or their birthdays which in our case are pretty much back to back.  My sister informed me about a key feature on the Walmart website that I thought was really cool they have a wish list which is similar to a baby or wedding registry it is really cool you can go on their site and pick out what you would like to have and click add to wish list and then guess what you can send all your family the link and they will have all the ideas right there it is awesome!!!

I am pretty sure other stores probably have that same option it is a new idea to me but so fantastic so guess what we will be doing this year for Christmas and birthdays.  Hope this helps someone else out who gets tired of hearing that dreaded phrase what do they want this year!!!

Really Good Advice

I have always struggled to find that balance in parenting where you don't let your kids run wild but you know how to have fun and just let some things slide and when I read this article it struck a chord with me that I need to remember that they are just children and they will make mistakes and it is ok to let go of some things and not yell and scream over spilled milk(or cereal or crayons whatever it may be)

So check out this amazing article of one mom's struggle and journey to freedom!!
